    I don't understand the question. Off roster really only applies to the sale and resale of firearms, it does not affect your warranty or HK USA's ability to honor that warranty.

    The issue seems to be HK's view on the SSE process, and the legality of non-LEO ownership of off-roster guns.

    Are you thinking that H&K perceives the SSE process to be something less than legal? If so, they should be talking to their corporate legal staff because if it was illegal do you believe for a moment that California would allow the process to continue?

    According to one post in that Calguns thread, HK is of the opinion that the SSE process voids their warranty and that non-LEO ownership of off-roster handguns is illegal.

    Obviously, the SSE process isn't illegal at this point and time. Hopefully, someone can convince HK of that.
