Default good news for CA HK lovers

Good news for California H&K lovers. While S&W and Ruger have stopped applying for their semi-autos to be on the CA DOJ ok list, HK has at least been renewing the models that are already on the list. Several models that would have fallen off the list by now have already been renewed. Renewal keeps the gun on the list for one additional year. This only applies to guns already approved a while back. It is fairly certain that newer models, like HK45 and P30 will never be made in "CA versions" with the added features required to get them approved.
But, at least for now, the USP series and the P2000 and P2000sk are still being renewed and still going to be available.
    That's good news.

We need to hope and pray that one day the law suit against the approved list will be won, and we can get the guns the rest of the country can buy without going through the SSE process.

That day will come, I hope all manufacturers stop renew them.

I remember prior to when the Roberti-Roos ban was going into effect and people had one year to buy while they could. I picked up a HK91... how history seems to repeat itself....

Failed to see how this is good news as the ban on SSE is going to take effect in 2015. Compared to the HK45/30 line, the USPs is inadequate ergonomically and lacks a picatinny rail. I am hoping the roster gets overturned.

Here's hoping that the Calif Roster list is ruled unconstitutional.

Didn't a judge just rule the 10 day wait unconstitutional if you already own a gun? I'd say that's better.
