It was refreshing to see the UMP being used in close quarters/urban situation. Seems like too many cops are using the AR15/m4 in inappropriate situations.
I will respectfully disagree with that, and not sure where you get that or what makes you think an M4 / AR would be inappropriate... The only reason I can think of that would make a cop not want something like an M4 is because they had something even BIGGER available. :)
I dont like this, too much of a police state / para-military force. Our Police shouldn't look like merc's. This is like a defacto posse comitatus but without any legal rights to order people in their homes and doing illegal searches for the suspect.
I would not answer the door and wait till they break open that door.
Also, I hear people argue, why carry a gun, it can get taken from you.
What if some criminal gets his .22lr pocket pistol he bought from his local drug dealer and takes that automatic firearm?
He had a pretty big blind spot.
