Default PRODUCT REVIEW: SI SLICK 13 and CRUX 15 Keymod Handguards

If you have already, please read my review (click below) on the Strike Industries Slick 9. There is a ton of info there that I won't cover here as it is redundant.

As with the Slick 9, the Slick 13 has the same styling as the factory HK rail. For those of you that are attached to the factory aesthetics, this should be a big plus.

The Crux 15 uses an extrusion that is somewhat reminiscent of the G28 handguard. It is available in both Keymod and M-LOK and includes non-limiting QD sling mounts at the rear 3 and 9 positions. I am told that they will be releasing a version that includes a integral flip-up front sight as well. As with the Slick series, machining quality, fit and finish are exceptional. It comes in at just under 1 lb... for a 15" handguard!

In my opinion, another solid win!

    Joe,

Thanks for the review, did they give you an ETA on the M-lok versions, and will you be posting a review of those as well?

Last update I got is that they were in production. No ETA. Unsure yet is I will be receiving one, but if I do I certainly will do a write-up.

Joe, have you given any thought to producing 416 rails? I know you just came out with some for the legacy roller locks....I think a key mod and/or M-lok version with mounting options on all of the octagonal surfaces (similar to the KMR) would be popular with the folks here...

Can you make picture that shows comparison of cross-section of both SI rails and HK rail (and Geissele if you have one)?
