    Default Private Message Quota

I know I am just an Unrepentant HKHolic and no longer a Premium Member, but is there a chance that when the site migrates to XenForo - there might be an increase in the PM quota? By today's standards, 250 is quite low.

    Just humbly and politely asking

my premium membership gives me 2k

I'm under the impression that from a PM standpoint, if you are not a premium member, the assumption is you are not here very often and not contacting other members.

because NORMALLY if you are, the premium membership resolves that - but for some folks that 2k PM's are not enough.

not sure what to say... there is an answer, but it does cost a bit of money. I pay it. Every year. Gladly.

I just visited one of my other XenForo sites and it doesn't explicitly say what our quotas are over there. I'm looking forward to some details and time frames surrounding the migration.

On a good note, the site will be more responsive and for all practical purposes - faster to navigate. That's a good thing because this site has been a little pokey lately (at least for me).

There is also a bookmark feature that will allow us to reference posts of interest in a list within our profile.

And, my other Vertical Scope forum states in the FAQ that "There is no limit to the number of conversations (Private Messages). You can keep them indefinitely."

Not to mention that the mobile version will be an upgrade.

As mentioned, the new site should have unlimited PM storage. But we have not migrated yet.

I continue to work closely with Vertical Scope management in hopes of guiding and tempering the migration so as to cause the least amount of impact. I have also expressed my concerns over data integrity ( @CGuns1 ) and other ongoing projects. I am willing to ride it out because I still have a passion for this site.
