    Aloha!

Just got a job on Big Island. Been in armored cars forever making a career change. Got a usp45f, uspc40ss, PTR91, and some nonHK stuff...big time reloader. Going to volunteer with HPD on side. May get my own FFL.

    Any good stores/places to shoot?

On the Big Island you got your choice of J Hara (Kurtistown) and Tokunaga (Hilo). J Hara was really more of a convenience store with some fishing stuff until they expanded into firearms items and Tokunaga was really just a fishing store.

Anyhow, check out 2A Hawaii about more info.

Don't forget about Stueb's, North Pacific Firearms, Selectfire, Z-Sports, and Sport's Authority. All serving Hilo side now.

    Aloha!
I'm new to HKPro from Hawaii, just joined after purchasing a VP9t, and luv it!
I've been away from shooting sports for quite a while, I used to shoot trap at Haliimaile most Sunday's. Since my son turned 18 recently, I wanted to get him started in shooting sports and restart the collection. So the first pistol to the collection had to be the VP9t. We luv this piece!
Thank you all for the vast collective of knowledge and experience, I'm honored to be here.

Revive this from the dead. New HK owner here. Just bought a vp9 a few weeks ago. I'm on the island of Maui. Going to go shoot my new gun for the first time this Thursday. Cant wait!

I’m curious what folks from Hawaii consider “being from Hawaii”. You have a Hawaii birth certificate for example or lived there for 10+ years?
