I must have been living right(naw!!) or something because I believe that I have found the formula for my clone. As mentioned above, I changed out the extractor(went with the advanced one, and polished the claw), and new ext. spring, and an HK recoil spring unit. I went to the range last evening and used only PMC 115gr FMJ ammo with HK mags. 100 rounds in, and 100 rounds out. It has

NEVER done that good before. I know there is more range time needed for a good testing, but at this point I am encouraged. I cleaned and examined everything this A.M. and things looked just fine. While I was at it I checked the bolt clearance and found it was .018in/ .457mm. That pleased me also.

Again, thank you for the information, as I feel that I can not have too much information and experience on the Bobcat Weapon clone.
A good quality bolt , carrier, locking piece fixes a lot of reliability issues on mp5 clones...as long as you've got a solid receiver to start with. The bobcat which is a special weapons receiver can sometimes be finicky to put it lightly. Yours sounds like its doing fine though, you just need a bit more tuning. The mad bolts are really nice but expensive.. if it were me I'd buy a rcm bolt & carrier group , i would think it would clear up what little reliability issue you are having.

Thank you very much for the information, and the sharing of your knowledge. My gun was one of the last ones that was manufactured by Bobcat Weapons, so perhaps it had some of the early problems ironed out.....at least I hope so. I am using the last range session as my base "setting", and after trying more of the same combo, will start evaluating my other(non-HK) mags, and ammo.

Again, thanx for your help, it is appreciated.

That's a great looking gun! Do you use a check riser to aim through the ACOG?

No the rail is welded to the receiver so with the TA11 having 3.5x magnification the eye relief and the height works just right, at least for me.

    My Ghillie built G3K with a TA11 on a TA03 mount.

I was wondering if I could bother you to take a measurement from the bottom of the eyepiece to the stock. I skipped the rail and bought that TA03 mount thinking it would be lower, but I'm not sure it is, I measured about 1 1/16".

My boy running some rounds through our MKE Z5RS with an Omega 9k. It is exceptionally quiet with 147gr as you would expect.
