    ETA: you do need an MP5K clone though.
    I fixed the mp5SD pistol (thanks fordemti) and K hole in the collection as well as the reverse stretch K hole too with the group buy from Dave and the SW going out of business sale. Though I would still like to add an MKE 94k pistol to the family. I will post pics when the group buy guns hit my FFLs door.

    Listed oldest to newest ...

    SLG-95, I had Urbach flute the chamber and install the barrel back in 92 or 93. The stock was hand made by a guy down in Florida; this was pre-PRS or other US made stocks and I needed it for 922r compliance

    The Special Weapons PSP-10 Pistol (bottom) I've had since about 2005 IIRC (not sure if it counts as a clone or not ... it has all MP5 internals in it) and the CA-89 since about 2006 ... both SBR'd in 2007

    V93 in Desert Tan I got in 2009 just because I missed my HK-93 that sold on GunBroker for stupid money (at the time)

    C-93 Pistol (with registered Sear installed) I got this one in 2012 strictly for use with my registered sear;

    V-51 Pistol (with registered Sear installed) I got this one in 2012 also strictly for use with my registered sear; but thinking I'll just SBR it as its not practical in full auto.

    If you really want to do something, you'll find a way
    If you don't, you'll find an excuse

    Coharie CA89K

    Went OD Green with thoughts of Digtial Camo but found it 'Toy-Like'

    So I went Back to Black!!!

    I had to cut up the original hand guard to be able to use my 3 lug mount. So I went a step further and cut up an UMP top rail and fixed two pieces to the hand guard. One at the 6 o'clock and the other at the 1 o'clock.. I think it came out nice!

    Before

    After

    Now you just need a parked metal lower on there, I just love the old wood look.

    In my statement of "practical" I'm just thinking of just staying on target ... the muzzle rise in a shoulder mounted 308, in F/A is very strong and very fast. After the 2nd shot at a man size target (center mass) at say 25 yards I'm completely off target ... think chest and head shot with one trigger pull in less than 1/4th of a second.

    If I were a practical person I'd only "need" about 5 firearms and I have way, way more than that, when it comes to being practical, it's not something I typically use when referring to firearms. It's not like I'm going to get rid of it, just make it more user friendly ...
