Contacted Jeff. I’m number 4 of 5 for his next round PCS 9 N builds! Thanks for the education. It’s much appreciated!

Really excited to get my Jeff Walters custom build.

Jeff built me my first MP5 maybe 10 yrs ago. LSC flat and a demill’d PD HK parts kit. I also own PTR, SW, MKE,& POF MP5s.

I pretty much exclusively shoot my original PCS MP5.

Jeff rebuilt my hard times armory registered reciever for me. I haven't seen the gun yet, picking it up at my dealer tomorrow but i know it will be perfect. Jeff is a real professional and this experience, from our first correspondence to the shipping of my firearm has been nothing short of stellar performance. Communication was fast and informative. Going into this i figured this was going to be a months long process...it hasn't even been a month, maybe 3 weeks and that included me ordering his suggested parts list after he checked the gun out. This has been so unlike any other dealings i have had with guns smiths i don't no what to say. Ill just say he is truely a professional. Pictures to follow tomorrow

    The promised picture.

Jeff did a total over haul of my Hard Times Armory registered receiver.
When i bought the gun 3 years ago it was unchanged from 1986 when Hard Times did the conversion. Honestly, i had been a little disappointed in its performance. It shot about a 5 inch group at 25 yards and other then the fun of the FA switch, it wasn't something i enjoyed shooting and certainly wasn't a tool i would want to trust my life to.

I sent it off to Jeff and after checking it out he suggested a new barrel and since im left handed, an ambi trigger pack. I also wanted him to install a top rail and paddle mag release. He did all this in about 3 weeks which included about a week down time while he waited on parts. He kept me updated through the whole process. Phenomenal customer service.

So how does she shoot? Like i always thought she was supposed to. Dead accurate. Runs like a top as well. The welds are superb and the paint is flawless. To bad about the paint because im going to beat the hell out of this thing. I like to crawl around in the dirt as well as shoot, usually in the dark.

I got my laser and light on there and took her out to the range to sight the laser in and run a few drills while i was there. This thing is a dream to shoot, popping steel silhouettes at 100 yards with ease, in the dark.

Many thanks to Jeff for bringing my MP5 up to its full potential

Paint isn't a big deal, the gun can always be blasted, reparked, and repainted.

Who's barrel did you end up using?

Picture Jeff sent of the shot group. I didn't take pictures of mine but i had similar results. I swear this thing wouldn't of been in the big circle consistently before i sent it off. Not sure what Hard Times or the previous owner did to the original barrel but I'm glad its fixed now.
