    Hello,

Looking into a potential JLD rifle...is serial #A49XX fall into a Wilson barrel or the crappy TC?

    I've searched...getting mixed results.

I believe that all of the A XXXX will be Wilson (HK91 specs--- most 12-flute, but some 10-flute); AW XXXX will be TCC!!!

Thank you. It appears to be Wilson with Rhinemetall carrier and POF bolt. Looks to be the sweet spot JLD. Also has G3 paddle release installed by Arizona Response.

My JLD PTR91 16” barrel is the same. serial# A4XXX. Wilson barrel and HK parts. The trigger pack is all HK (metal housing).

Those rhinemetal carriers are the best! I have bought them for all my 91 rifles. The welds on the HKs are great without a doubt, but the solid billet steel carriers are rock solid.

Not so fast. Those Rheinmetall carriers also start out as 2 pieces. They are just welded in a different place. GARY

Indeed. I've seen Rheinmetall carriers come apart.
