Yes the original projected price was much higher. There has been several things that have been implemented thus providing a lower price on the 9mm & .40 cal models. The goal was to be able to get these into the same price range as most of the roller locks on the market. It is nice to see prices come down rather than go up for once. Below is a pic of the .40 cal

Mine works good, but be warned, it does not have the secret sauce like an MP5. Half the weight of the gun is the bolt, so when you shoot it, it lacks the smoothness of the earlier HKs.

If you'd like a UMP, and don't want to spend crazy money, this is a great way to do it.

I still think it shines in .45, nice to have modularity though.

Hopefully gsg9 makes some mounts for common cans so their 3-lug is usable.

Atlantic, just curious on these guns you sell and shop as complete guns...

Are the mags a US made mag or original HK made mags? And are you selling UMP mags now at all?

    Thanks!

Any idea on the cost of the US 45 bolts? Also any vendors have them available?

HK Parts has them for sale, two links regarding them, as below. $349.00 for the bolt.

Funny. Gsg9 just messaged me on IG saying

"We are running 45 barrels now for ump in nipple, nipple with m16x1 lh threads and our 3 lug with m16x1 lh threads we are 4-5 weeks out on silencerco adapter for our 3 lug design"

    Ask and ye shall receive

    N4KVE,

Very pro-Omega GS user here. The .45 UMP on the OGS receiver was my first clone build. Very happy with the gun and would not hesitate to buy another.

In fact, I’m looking at Wade’s MP5kSD right now for my next build.

The only complaint I can make is that the only rails that will fit the OGS receiver are made by Omega, and they are a little steep IMO. Some other users, including myself, had trouble with this. You can either buy them from Omega or buy some blanks and doing the cutting and drilling yourself.

No issues with my Gideon Shadow. Pretty solid recoil impulse and the sb brace could be a tad longer, you know, for my long forearm.

I have long arms too, tommybuilt tailhook brace is perfect.
