    Default C93 Bolt Wear

Been having some problems with my C93 so I decided to change the rollers to +2 for a new bolt gap of .012 after dropping the hammer. Bolt was previously 0.010. Thought I would share some photos of my bolt and locking piece. #15 locking piece.

    Any concerns?

Could have been the barrel settling if they did a crappy pin job on the trunnion.

I thought those came with a #8 locking piece, the PTR rework I snagged has an #8, what's the difference between an 8 and 15?

Yep, that #15 locking piece is probably your problem if you're having cycling issues. You need a #8 or 7 locking piece, if you're gonna buy one, I'd get the #7 for a 16" barrel. I don't see a problem with your bolt as long as it's not snagging on anything.

    What problems are you having?

This is a SBR that was converted from a C93 pistol on a form 1

Gotcha, I don't know why they didn't name these c53's, I guess was easier for receiver markings just to add a "P". Anyhow, extraction issues? I would see how stiff your extractor spring is when you push up on it. Also make sure your flutes are clean. How many rounds through it, is this a new development or has it always done this?
