Default SEF (semi’d) into SP5K housing

I did a search, but couldn’t find any definitive answers, so here goes: could one put a semi’d SEF trigger pack into an SP5K trigger housing? That is, is it possible? I know that they have different selectors, so would one have to modify the semi’d SEF cage to accommodate the SP5K selector?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Why not just get a sef housing that is clipped and pinned for the sp5k and just use it with the sef pack instead?

To answer your question I have seen sef packs in the ambi housings, not sure what they did if anything to get it to work.

It's a direct violation of the Geneva Convention. Or one of the peace accords. It's really the only thing Germany was able to get in writing after the war. The downside of losing, I guess.

But on a more serious note, I don't think you really want to. There's an empty hole on the other side that will look like of retarded. You could put some black electrical tape over it but then you might has well have a Coharie.

Great question, and I suppose that I should have elaborated: I already have the SP5K housing, but would rather not spend the ridiculous money for the corresponding trigger pack. If it’s not feasible, or is in violation of the Geneva convention, I’ll just modify a plastic G3 SEF housing and work with it.

He would think so. But I was really kicking myself, since 1/4 of my "HK style" collection was made by him.
