Default new Omega lineup at Atlantic firearms?

I don't know if this is brand new product offering, or if I've just missed it, but I see Atlantic firearms is offering a line of HK clones manufactured by Omega. From the write up and the pictures and videos, it looks like it's possibly the most accurate clone of an HK made in the US. It reportedly uses a mixture of US and German made parts supplied by HKParts.com. From the information given and the pictures, it looks like a very high quality clone.

Anyone have any experience with the Omega brand so far?

Um, no. I’ve bought from Atlantic Firearms and they do a great job standing behind their product, but this is a Bobcat / Coharie / Special Weapons / Titan Defense product by a new name.

Thanks for the input and the info links. It isn't as new an offering as I thought it was, but it still looks like a good offering. It's always good to have more choices.

Omega has been around for a while now and there have been several reviews of their guns. I have two of them (an OM9 and and OM9SD) and both have been solid guns and run great with my sear. Just to note, I did upgrade them with the MAD MAX bolt head (which I believe they ship with from Atlantic now).

I'd go for a PTR or a Zenith instead

I've got three of their guns (one is a Gideon Shadow/UMP), with 2 Zeniths and 2 PTR roller locks to compare with. Out of all the roller locks I have, the two Omega MP5 clones run better than any of the others.

Whatever the history that the Baileys have, Wade Bailey makes a quality product and (unlike Todd Bailey who ran the previous companies) has provided superb customer service to just about anyone who's posted about an issue with their guns.

    Wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Agreed, I got one of their Gideon Shadow receivers that I built up with some HK parts,
and that thing has so far run absolutely flawlessly for me.
Wade was also very helpful when I had some questions about it.
