    Default MP5 40 round mags

Anyone know if there's a difference between the unmarked MCP Mp5 40 round mags and the LIq marked ones? Another question is: are all of the MCP mags marked?

Everyone that I have had my hands on have been marked MCP or LIQ.

Bystok would be the expert on this. He has every LIQ that I have stumbled across in his possession.

They're in white cartons and look just like the MCP with the park finish but no markings. Everything points to them being MCP mags but without a mark.

I have some Valmet M76, 40-round (parkerized) magazines in the plastic and white, cardboard boxes--- but they are marked "MCP" or "LIQ"--- left magazine body/upper right!!!
The HK94, 40-round (parkerized) magazines in the plastic and white, cardboard boxes that I have seen have been marked "MCP" or "LIQ"--- left side, bottom center.

I have to say that I'm convinced that the early MCP mags were unmarked just like the HK93 steel 40 rounders. After digging really deep, it appears there may be three generations of them. The no mark park seem to have least amount in circulation.

    No mark park
    MCP
    LIQ

I concur--- though not in my data (lack of confirmation), I recall the very, early (first imported) magazines as being unmarked!!!
Also, I recall (not confirmed) that the magazines were made in Singapore.
Any comments on either of these recollections is welcomed.

I had some unmarked 40 round mp5 magazines that I sold a while back.

The white, cardboard boxes are correct (per pictures provided)--- I highly doubt that someone happened to have 20/30-year old boxes lying around to put "fake" magazines in!!!
