    Thanks for the offer Sgt, but a friend of mine is going to give me some dry lube to put o them. I will just keep working on them until I get them working. Used as a learning experience. I didn't have this much problem with my AK mags when I cleaned them up.

    I gambled on a current production CETME and got a great shooter. Check your bolt gap and recheck it regularly. Oh, and welcome and your mags are fine. You might want to dissassemble them and clean them in the sink with hot water, brushes and dish detergent. One of the steel CETME mags that came with mine was unbelieveably filthy inside. I spray the internals down with self drying teflon lube

    mags looks so much better than what I was able to do with my vinegar solution I was using. I will keep the evapo rust in mind next time. Thanks.

    Here's what the mags look like now after a thin coat of Duracoat...they really need another thin coat, but I used the last of the Duracoat that I had left over from another project. I'm just gonna call them done at this point. They've all been function tested, so I'll call this a successful project!!
