Oh it was my extractor spring. It couldn’t even hold the extractor. Wish I checked it before I went out today with new ejector. I should hopefully be good to go next time.

    Hopefully this is it.

Did your stock fit real tight? I’ve noticed multiple people on here mention that their pistol braces fit real tight and they have issues with them that they didn’t have with with the end cap.

Edit: Didn’t see your post about the extractor when I responded. I ordered an HK ejector and several of the silver rifle extractor springs for my POF and won’t do any testing with my replacement until those, and my new rear sight arrive.

It did it with both. Both end cap and stock fit tight though.

Hmm usually what I’ve seen is when people put the original end cap on when the brace is too tight their problems are resolved

I would also take the end cap off and by grabbing the recoil spring move the bolt group up and down the guide rails and make sure everything is smooth

Bolt carrier moves smoothly and end cap is as snug as my b&t stock. Hopefully the new ejector with new extractor spring will cure it. Attached are some new pictures of the hk ejector. This look normal?

Gun ram way better. But I was getting a new failure. A new shell would stripped from mag and pushed almost all the way into the chamber. Pull trigger and nothing. Open bolt and extract round and brass on life shell was bent and marked up seen in picture below. This probably happened 10 plus times with multiple different mags. Eventually I think this caused new extractor spring to get bent and I had a failure to extract happen. But at that time the extractor wiggles. Any thoughts?

The bent extractor spring is suspicious.

Are the primers marked by the firing pin? I would suggest checking the bolt gap. Anything beyond .020" and you may experience light firing pin strikes, but the MP5/HK94 is a more forgiving pattern to that in some regards.

Also, with your various magazines, do these failures occur on the first or last round?

Another possibility is POF's Trigger Pack/Housing is sitting too lower on the receiver which can cause a whole mess of failures.

The click and no bang there was no marking on the primer which I thought was weird. What I did notice is when this happened the bold wasn’t fully closed, maybe 3/4 closed. Which I thought was interesting.

The failures seemed to happen in the middle of the magazine.
How can you tell if the pack is sitting too low?
