Default Brand new HK53 CLONE won't fit ANY mags

I just picked up my new HK53 clone from my FFL today, made by a very respected vender only to find it will not lock up any mags except a beat up old 40rd aluminum one, and even the is super tight. The catch won't close on german steel mags, or MKEs no matter how firmly they are seated. I will be contacting the manufacturer on Monday, but is this a common thing? is it easily fixed? I'm not grinding on factory HK mags to fit an out of spec clone. (its been over 4 months since I build was started)

    Bruh!

I don't normally comment, but rudimentary English skills are quite helpful. Let's look at wording.....punctuation perhaps?????

Now, just to make it HK, no it is not customary to grind your firearm, or your HK mag to fit. l would contact the builder.

    Good luck!!!!

    Cheers!!!!

    Similar issue some time ago.
Easy fix was RTG Parts HK33-53-93-MAGAZINE-CATCH
There are other parts in the assembly, the contract piece & paddle Mag release.
    May be worth a shot.

    Who's the builder?
I sold my HK's and bought a whole bunch of Century C93s. The best rifles on the planet bar none. I love the C93 pistols with the 12 o' clock slot!

OP needs more details. If it's a Buds / PTR gun a couple of folk, including me had issues. Search for my name for my fix.

    A German 53 made from a German 93 shouldn't have that problem...

    1st....it’s not a HK53 but a clone.....a HK wouldn’t have the issues
2nd...basically all 223/556 clone receivers suck....the degree of suck varies and some work fine with smaller deficiencies
3rd....with a clone, you have to be willing to tweak things and not be upset....if you want the real deal you gotta step up

Century made a 5.56. The last of the receivers was bought up, and sent to PTR to complete.

I occasionally flirt with the idea of a PTR32 of some sort.

But if there is an HK product, past or present, that gets me what I want, I just buy the real deal.
    Own: HK91, SR9, SP5k, G36k, HK416, P30L, 2x P8, 2x P8A1, USP9
Future: Done, until HK comes out with something new & nifty. Might start building an FNH collection.

Have you tried bolt open and inserting the mag while putting some rearward pressure on the magazine?
