Default To Beltsand or not to beltsand

Bought this mp5 sd-k off here, it’s in the mail to my dealer and the bottom rail is already bothering me. Should I “beltsand” off the bottom rail and put a new plastic cover on it, or keep it as is?

Let me know what you guys think, good or bad on keeping the bottom rail for this sear host

    Cool Advice

Keep the railed SD forearm and buy a new SD forearm. Over time you may find that the railed one provides you with capabilities
that you are not considering at the moment and prove useful after all. I think that is what I would do.

But then, any guy who owns 3 SD's probably should not be giving a whole lot of advice .

I like the rail I have a bt full railed hand guard for mine but have not installed it. I like running a hand stop or front grip to help position my hand on all of my sbr and machine guns ( minus the stock mp5a2)

If you end up making it a sbr you could add a vertical grip to it with the rail.

Nice guns. Sounds expensive and beyond my capability to do a swap
