    Default Zenith barrel conversion

Hey guys. Iím new to the forum and HKís in general but Iím looking at buying an MP5 clone. Iíve been looking for a Zenith Z-5P but theyíre out of stock everywhere and Iíve heard the next batch is already spoken for. I am on the list for one through my dealer but no guarantees. I did however find a Z-5K locally for a good price. Problem is the barrel is too short and from what Iíve read it doesnít look like you can put a suppressor on it. So my question is where can i find a 5.8in barrel to swap out? Iíve checked hk parts but couldnít find one. Google isnít turning up much either. I know if i send it to zenith to do the work i can just buy the barrel from them but I was hoping to save a few bucks and buy the barrel myself and just send it out for the work.

    Thanks

This is the barrel you would need...

    https://www.brownells.com/rifle-part...rod104883.aspx

    https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/R...-CHF-p4512.htm

If you buy the K and SBR it you can add a vertical grip. ;)
You can find codes for 10% off and free shipping at Brownells.

You're going to be into that Zenith for way more than you should be with a barrel swap. I would not go that route. Zenith quoted me $400 for a barrel swap not including the barrel.

The gun is only 1400.00 and TPM outfitters will do the conversion for 285.00 so itís not that bad. But the seller seems to be backing out so i may just wait for the Z-5P

If I were you, I'd wait. A good friend of mine is also wanting to purchase a Z-5P after shooting mine. Zenith Firearms did mention that they expect a shipment of Z-5P's by mid to late Fall.

    My Zenith Z-5P :-)

That sounds really expensive. Why not just get a 5RS?
