    LMAO....Man I have recoated that thing so many times....it is now in the parts bin and a DDC Geissele took its place.

    I think I like the way the Geissele feels better now that I have it on. Maybe its just mental but in my big dummy hands it feels more narrow / natural????

    I have the upper, seeing this wants me to clone a lower.where would I send the lower off to get the correct 416D markings?

    According to Brownells the lower takes standard AR15 parts so realistically how hard is it to source the upper components? I was looking to go this route but with mr556 sometimes selling for 1900 to 2000, would it not be easier to buy a complete Mr556?

    Sure. But then you'd have an MR556 not a 416 clone, which is what this thread's about.
