    Good deal. I actually had to ask the OG 416 Rainman and he was thinking the AE were the first date codes we saw in the states.

    Yes Delta were the guys. Larry Vickers had a role in the conception of the 416 and Larry was a D boy

    The Tango Down grips on all of those are probably not just a coincidence. Those would have been as shipped by HK for AE and AF. It was AH/AI when the V2 HK grips were standard configuration.

    Those of you who chopped your Brownells barrel, did you open the gas port? I’m running a vented gas block and so far all i have found suggests a 1.6 mm gas port. Anyone?
