Default Parts to swap on POF out of the box?

    Howdy,

Just got a POF-5 fullsize, thinking I'm going to be swapping out the extractor and spring for legit H&K. Also heard the firing pins are not great. Swap that out too? Or leave the factory one 'till I have an issue?

    Anything else?

    Thanks!

Don't swap anything out unless it breaks. These are fine right out of the box. It's when you start playing mix and match that you start to run into problems.
With regards to the P7, there are two classes of people.

    1. Those who know it to be the finest pistol ever produced.

    2. Those who have yet to fire one.

I recently got a POF smg pk and have fired about 500 rnds. It works perfectly with no failures of any kind. I wouldn't change any of the parts unless they have a problem.

Don't replace it. Keep the German parts on hand. On an MP5 I never monkey with an extractor or extractor spring if it extracts... Even removing them to detail clean.

Alright, gonna buy some spares and not touch a thing internally.

    Thanks!

It’s not a PTR. No need to swap anything. The POF is a HK contract gun, built on HK machinery. It is not a clone using American parts. GARY.

Not fixing it if it isn't broke is the correct decision.

I don't "run" my guns or "run" anything on them. Likewise, none of my guns are "platforms". I hold them up, not the other way around.
