Not being critical but just factual....this pricing is just ridiculous. Especially for the design and true functionality of the design. These rifles are actually designed as throw away weapons once their life is exhausted. Although a joy to shoot they are not the same as other options for less there. The profit built into these is just short of rude for the American Marketplace. This is a $xxx rifle all day long in today's dollars, meaning the importer say $xxx and the seller another $xxx....but DSA is about $xxxx and made here and when scoped a tack driver with match 168grn....yes the HK G3 is fine but at these numbers a hands down ripoff.

Here's one of the most nonsensical posts I've seen in while. Welcome to the forum.

1st point, ALL military weapons are throw away after service life exceeded. I have some really cool cut of recievers that are testimony to that.
2nd its a new made by a licensed HK producer.
3rd its what the market will bear. When barrelled surplus HK33 parts kits are selling between $850-1,200 (PARTS KITS!) and hit or miss Century 93 are in that same range, a new made rifle will pull the money they are asking. Original used HK93 are a bargain at $2,500 a d a shiny well kept one people ask up to $3,500. I would not be surprised if by Monday that rifle is sold, For that matter it may actually be spoken for already.

4th- the HK33/93 Series are enjoying a "rediscovery" compared to all the other lines of HK produced models, these were not produced anywheres near the numbers of all the other models so parts/kits to build or countries that still have the tooling set up to build these are rare. That is only going to drive the market harder for HK fans who realise what little gems these are and at the moment are concerned that if they want one there are few decent options.
5th- are you really going to try to start a FAL Vs HK argument on an HK based forum? Much less 2 very different models in 2 different calibers? I ask these questions not to provoke a debate or an argument but to point out you may not have all the facts under consideration as to market values and desireability and making a claim on a website that some members will bid enough for the right raritaten HK that could be used as a house down payment, or you could buy a nice SUV might not be a great way to introduce yourself to this forum. The mags alone for these are $60-80 each

"Not being critical but just factual...." and then continues on thinking he's looking at a G3 in the photo. :D

If you can't properly identify the rifle you are providing "factual" information on please stick to the AR fan boy forums.

Yep, it would be a hard pass for me at that price point. I'd honestly rather have two V93's for that. It works for many so it's good that we have choices.

If you look at what the upper end AR’s go for and what used HK 93’s go for. Also the fact that Zenith doesn’t make them anymore.
I don’t think the price is to out of line for a 93 made on HK tooling.

Before HK brought out the SP5 Z-5RS’s where going for around that price with a brace.

Well maybe, but the guy above gets it....

Funny to me is how when you first post up how it always draws out those.....fill in the blank. The market sold value is determined by the number of units sold, not the suggested retail price. Duh. This is when things sold come out the chute they are XX price, it they dont sell then they are at CDNN for 40% less....some old timers here are LTAO. Nice to have someone in the industry show up! Just saying.
