    Default POF MP5K issues.

Hopping someone might be able to help me figure out what's going with my POF MP5k.

Picked one up used at a gun shop. Brought it home and every few rounds it fails to extract and picks up the next round in the magazine. I took the gun apart cleaned and inspected everything. All the parts looks good with no burs or odd wear and still does the same thing. Some times I can get through half a mag, but most of the times it does this every 3-5 rounds.

I've also noticed the ejection pattern looks good, but every so often one barley ejects falling at my feet.

So far I have replaced the extractor spring, extractor, and extractor lever. This has helped some, but now it always malfunctions once per magazine instead of every 3-4 rounds. Also noticed the ejection pattern is the same with a few rounds just barely making it out of chamber dropping at my feet. I checked head space gap and it's .016. My locking piece is numbered 907?

I'm completely out of ideas now how to fix this gun.

What ammo are you using and have you given the flutes a good cleaning?

Some guys recommend oiling your ammo with a light coat and see if it behaves better on ejection.

I've used some magtech 115gr, some 124gr (don't remember its brand), 115 +p speer gold dots, 124gr Remington golden saber. They are malfunction the same.

I have tried 124 FMJ, haven't tried 147 yet. Would think it should run fine with at lest 124gr.

I recorded the ejection in slow motion. Noticed when it james the spent casing is being pushed straight upwards inside the chamber never even coming close to ejecting outside.

It still only does this once per magazine. Already added a germen ejector lever so maybe I will try a new ejector lever spring.

You have posted this in the HK specific customer service sub forum - you may want to request that the mods move this to the Clone section.

Sounds like you have some decent ammo choices. 124 Nato Win is a standard.

Try a different mag. A HK mag with a new spring.

Pull the lower. See if the BCG slides freely.

I would clean the chamber well with a brunch. I have heard of this on POF’s and it was “fixed” them.

Also done this the issue still stays. Might wait until MAD bolt head is back in stock and try that.
