    Default UMP lower for Omega build

    I picked up an Omega GS receiver and will be building out a UMP. For the lowers, I have read that i will need a semi lower or a lower with USC parts. I saw this at HK parts and wondered if it will work for my build. Has anyone used this?

    It will work. Minor modifications - front hooks need to be opened up a little to fit around the pins. It will function as is, but to use all of the usc parts like the locking lever, the selector needs to be modified as well.

    Just to clarify, I thought that the UMP hooks do not have to be enlarged for the Omega receiver? I will not be using a USC host to convert as well.

    Oh - you may be correct. Both of mine are HK.

    @bjo71

    Pins on GS are same as USC. Lower hooks need to be modified.

    Product link is correct drop-in for GS or USC.

    You could confirm with Wade, he is pretty responsive via email

    The Omega website has several pictures and instructions for how to complete the modifications.

    Super easy to do, just take your time. Did this to fit the lower on my omega receiver.
