Default HKs back at FFLs soon?

When are guns going to be back on the shelves? Do they ship to distributors/dealers as they "come off the assembly line" or are they stocked and ship 1 or 2 times a year?

I've had a pistol ordered from a dealer (pre-COVID) that was supposed to get there in a week. COVID happened a week later. Then a few weeks after that a gun came in and he said it was mine while looking it over it was a V3 not a V1. He said he shipped it back and said the right gun would be shipped "overnight", per the distributor.

    Still waiting.......

Checked other FFL's and no one has any H&K's (online or storefronts).

In the last month I've seen a few P30 V3s here and there online. Saw a couple P30L V1s as well, but havent seen the standard P30V1 in quite some time. They all seem to sell pretty quickly.

I'm also told that currently HK is not accepting any orders either so grab what you can find out there now.

Four different sources - 2 different LGS and 2 different online retailers

I found out simply because I went to a few asking about a common VP9 model as I wanted to buy one through them and they say out. OK order me one. Cannot! Heard the same thing from 4 different reputable sources now. I first saw this posted here on HK Pro too in a different post.

I don’t know about the German made guns like USPs, but NW Armory, which is north of me up I-5, has been having various models trickling in. These are all the updated models, with 17 round mags, so not new old stock.
Example- they have updated Vp-9 with 17 rd mags in stock, although it is the button version which I don’t like. Two weeks ago they had optics ready VP9s but sold out. Had P30s a little while before that. I bought a OR VP-9 from Buds two weeks ago when they got a shipment in. Sold out very quickly though, so you pretty much have to be on their notification alert to snag one right now.
