Not sure. But what's with the chicken wing? Pro would be makin' you buy!
I bought this P2000 v3 9mm nib sight unseen. *
The sticker on the box is marked 9 x 19. The test fire case envelope is marked 9 x 19 and the instruction booklet doesn't even list 9 x 21 as a caliber variant.*
Both the serial numbers from the barrel and from the slide match but the slide says 9 x 19 and the barrel says 9 x 21!?!?
What do you think?*
So I called HK
and the guy who sold it to me. and we'll see what happens.

Pics would be cool! SG is talking about your arm sticking out like a target, aka-chicken wing.
Add: That is certainly the HK font. It looks cleaner than the other markings. How does the inside of the barrel look? Is the finish even? Certainly different.

That was an old photo of me shooting a full auto HK51 I guess my form is blahhh
Have you taken the barrel out and dropped in a 9x19 case so see if its a good fit or sloppy?
If its sloppy then it may actually be chambered for 9x21, if its a good fit for 9x19 its just mis-marked - but would still raise concerns since someone (not you) would try to use 9x21 ammo...though it probably would not chamber.
9x21 is 2mm larger in diameter at the case head than 9x19 with same OAL as 9x19.
Maybe to be on the safe side, send the entire pistol to H&K for inspection.
Better safe than sorry!
I'm not buying it, looks photoshopped. Look at the stamp 9x21 when compared to the rest of the stamps. Very clear and precise. Prove me wrong, I stand by my statement.
9x21 was created to allow firearms in countries that forbid ownership of firearms firing military ammo.
If you drop a 9x19 cartridge into a removed barrel, the 9x19 cartridge will sit 2mm too deep. If you try to chamber a round, it most likely will chamber since the extractor will hold it back. However bad things may happen if you try to fire it.
Speed never killed anyone. It's the sudden stops.
I did compare it my girlfriends Walther and my dads Glock (too bad I didnt get photos) and the chamber is definitely deeper in the 9x21. I tried to get the photos to show that. Although it is a little blurry and I cant prove that it is actually a 9x19mm. I could use some help not everyone's excellent scrutiny.
Well I'll consider the skepticism of my fine photos a compliment but here are a few more pics as proof.
Trust me that's a 9x19mm round
See how it doesnt sit flush with the top locking block?!
So What sort of service can I expect from H&K? A new barrel with the same serial number or a new gun ??? A P30 as a replacement?!
Has anyone even seen a 9x21 HK before???
