I wouldn't advise carrying a p2000/uspc mag with Xgrip as a backup. It fits, but not perfectly. The finger groove on the grip comes down and compresses the corners of the Xgrip slightly. There's a VERY good chance that you wouldn't seat the magazine properly in a high speed/under stress reload. Of course you could probably cut away some material to make it work, which I plan to try here in the next couple of days. I don't yet have the p30 mag Xgrips I ordered, but I would guess they are the same way. I asked on their website about specific p30sk grips, and this is the response I got:

Thanks for your comments interest in the XGRIPS for the HK P30SK.
Hopeful to complete this new P30SK to full size P30 mag XGRIP later this year. P30SK to P2000 mag next year…

    Best regards,
    Robert

Literally, 15 seconds with a Dremel and the problem is resolved. BTW the +1 grip extender from HKParts is also an excellent grip and capacity aid.

You can use 15 round P30/VP9 magazines. There is enough room to get your pinky comfortably on the magazine itself.

P30SK/VP9SK is what the G26 is to Glock.

I love my G26...I can run every 9mm Glock mag on earth...honestly...the shorter slide does not hinder practical accuracy in any way.

P30SK/VP9SK would serve the same way for someone as my G26 does for me I think.

I dunno. The extended mags may just torpedo a valid excuse to buy a new P30L

    and.........thats a problem...? :)

You need a nightstand gun as well, to keep your carry piece company.
if you already have a HD gun, then ..... you need a backup.
