Default Such silliness as you get older

Well I'm getting older: I was looking through my safe, of the first time in a long long time and I moved a box and to my surprise I found a gun trade I had completely forgot about. I'll bet you're saying that just can't happen, it did. I had forgotten I traded a friend years back for his HK P2000 9mm that was never shot. This was really a great surprise to me on one hand but a little worrying on another. The funny thing is I was thinking about another HK.

Anyway my gun has 13 round mags and was wondering is there a option for 15 rounders in the p2000. I thought I remember that the P2000 took some USP mags but don't know which. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Nothing to worry about. Forgetting the gun in the safe is no big deal, now, if you'd forgotten how it got there, then you should be worried. Congrats, it's like getting a new gun for free:)

If there is still not a shortage in the P30/VP9 mags.

Also, you will probably want to run the grip adapter. The 15rd mags stick out the grip about 1/4"-3/8" before you get to the base.

The grip extension is comfortable, but not necessary, and can slow reloads as your hand on the X-grip can prevent the mag from dropping if you're not very deliberate about it. Using the 15 round mags, you can also use a variety of aftermarket extensions that are +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, or +15 to bring the total capacity all the way up to 30rounds. Alternatively, you can use these extensions on your existing P2000/USPc mags to add capacity to them.
