Thank you all for the feedback...I'll be saving for the gun starting with next week's pay check. Hopefully I'll let you know soon what a blast it is to shoot.

Sold mine in LEM config no regrets. .45 is my fav round btw, so it's not ammo bias that I say this.

    You may like it.

While I like the HK45 a lot, I prefer the USP compact .45 due to the way it fits my hands. If you can find a place that rents both I would try both out. Either way you won't have any regrets. Just a suggestion.

Never heard it said before, either.

I've had mine for a few years. Very concealable for a .45 but by no means is it small. It's about the same size as my P2000.

I also recommend some kind of extra grip material. I used hockey stick tape. Worked great and is cheap.

Put it this way...all hk's in 45 are very smooth shooters. The hk 45c will definitely fit you well. I love mine and could be my favorite. But then again my new favorite is what I took to the range last.

Why? Are bees flying out of the barrel? I would like to hear your story. Pictures would be even better.

Hi, HK45c LEM owner here. I have medium sized hands and the HK45c is a perfect fit. Larger hands may have problems holding on to the slickish grip. As far as recoil goes, it is extremely soft, the opposite of "sting". If you've played baseball, it is as soft as hitting the ball on the sweet spot of the bat or catching a ball with the web of the glove, and the complete opposite of hitting it wrong on the bat or catching it with the palm of your glove, ouch. However, it does have a lot of muzzle flip.

    Great analogy HiPowerRx
I agree It does have some muzzle flip, but once you learn to drive the gun like i eluded to before that goes away.

Mine is extremely accurate and comfortable to shoot. Fairly easy to conceal and quick to get back on target. Mine is DA/SA with safety and I carry cocked and locked since I don't care for the heavy first round DA trigger pull. Can someone enlighten me on th "lite LEM" trigger conversion?
