I saw a VP7M8 this morning. Niils grips, squeeze cocker. A few hours later, I woke up and my pillow was soaked in drool....

Hk could care less about shot show.

Sadly, this is probably the most accurate information yet to be provided and the closest to the truth.

Something to be said for that. I've seen discussions about the new M&P 2.0 (of course, now that I fixed the trigger on my MP45c). I'm slow. I just now put this together with Glock's multiple "Gen's" to figure out that this is how some gun manufacturers have implemented "planned obsolescence." But where's the serious improvement or innovation? Where is the hammer gun that's better (more accurate, more robust) than USP (or even a 1911) or a striker gun that is more accurate, more compact or more innovative than a P7?

I'm hearing that VP Long Slide guns are on the way.

Seems like the P30 was first released in 9mm,
then 40 S&W, followed by Long Slides of both.

Now the VP is first released in 9mm,
    then 40 S&W, followed by ???

I would like to see a more affordable rifle from H&K, like a 300 BO for the masses!

    I'd like a VP45 too. Maybe even VP45C...
But believe VP9L and VP40L versions are more likely.

Oh.... YES! A P30SSK. Same size as a SW Bodyguard or something like that.

My change pocket needs a companion.

Frankly I have become frustrated with HK. They are being out executed by Sig Walther, S&W, Ruger. The fact that they can't release more than one pistol (VP9) platform in a couple years is ridiculous. And don't give me the mumbo jumbo about quality. Walther and Sig also produce outstanding products. And this from a company that has not been on the best financial footing. I am moving on.
