Keep us posted. I'm looking forward to hearing of the positive results and if they add any words to the determination.
    Sure thing.

I'm looking forward to it as well.

Right now I'm using what's left of my PMC stash for .45 and GECO for 9mm.

I got about 10k rounds of Geco in both 115gr and 127gr... not one issue and they're pretty clean.

    Default USP45 damage

    ***UPDATE***

Well talked to Jesse again and she definitely needs a new slide and possibly a new barrel. There's some markings in the chamber likely cause by case separation due to low quality ammo.

It was my decision to use the blazer aluminum and it was a steal compared to other 45 ammo at the time. Like $280 for a case.

Jesse said that the barrel is probably Ok but to keep an eye on it. I told him to just replace it and I'll pay whatever it costs. I want the gun 100%.

Jesse said he should be able to get it back to me early next week.

Once again HKCS is top tier. Especially because of Jesse Teague. They need to give that man a raise.

Indeed Jessie and HKCS are great. Its good that HK steps up like they do and cover their warranties, hassle free. I'm still wrestling with S&W over products they charged me for but never delivered but have never had a single issue with HK.
That slide damage has me looking over every slide I have as I bring them out for their semi annual wipe downs and range rotations. Although I do not use aluminum casings, I imagine that other cheap ammo could also bear watching. Its surprising that aluminum is even allowed on the market.

I'm not reading that this is being covered under warranty. Not with the admission of aluminum cased ammo being used. Maybe I'm wrong. How about a clarification.

I am reading that HK is covering the slide and OP is covering the barrel.

    OP please enlighten us.

HK and I have not discussed anything yet in regards to cost and what needs paid for by me vs what may be covered under warranty.

Regardless, I have no problem having to pay for the slide and barrel as this issue was in no way caused by HK. I should go after the ammunition company for compensation but that would be a paperwork nightmare and I fired those aluminum casings several thousand brass casings ago. I'll hear back from them before they send it back.
