    - No second-strike capability on striker (source: internet)
    - Hammer-fired is more gooder (source: internet)
    - Won't hold more than 15 rounds without modification; no jetfunnel :(
    - Visually displeasing (rail chin, misaligned slide, and other fugly stuff)
    - $100 more than a Glock
    - Serious lack of aftermarket junk parts to keep me busy ruining the integrity of the gun
    - The TRS and trigger bar spring are bad (source: gunsmiths offering $500 trigger packages for this and rival platforms)
I died laughing on that one. You can buy mag extension btw.

I've got a VP9 LE, and IF I had to do it over again, I'd have just gotten the regular model.

I'm not a fan of the meps at all, I have a distinct dislike for 3 dot sights. So for my:

SD Guns I go with Trijicon HDs
Range/match guns I go with Dawson Precision fiber optic fronts and plain black rear sights

That's just me though. Sooner or later I'm getting rid of the stock NS and replacing them with Dawsons. Would have done it by now, but my VP9 sort of fills a back-up/loner gun role as I'm primarily shooting my P30L these days.

    Hence the "without modification" caveat.

I was seriously questioning whether the humor of my post would be seen or not. The demographic here hasn't changed as much as I had thought.

If you use the word "gooder" in a sentence and site the "internet" as a reference... there's no way someone can think that's a serious post.

Yeah even with those soft pitches of "gooder" and "operational operations", some still won't get it.

With the internet, there's always a way to be misunderstood and/or offended... Never underestimate the power of stupidity.

I have an LE and a standard version. I replaced the Mepro night sights with Trijicon HD. Had HK do it for me, and still have the Mepros. Extra magazines I buy locally for about $35, so depending on price point and whether you might replace factory sights, that's the only decision point IMO. I've got a set of TruGlo TFX Pros considering putting on the standard version, though the factory sights are good for a range gun.
