Certainly appears that way. The instagram pics look like they have Meps, though. Can't tell for sure.

I still wonder if the recoil rod/spring are different. I love the double recoil rod in the usp tactical series, would be nice if they did something like that here.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

My understanding is that the VP9T in the US will be essentially the LE package (3 magazines, night sights) with the HK factory threaded barrel. I didn't have a chance to ask about recoil spring rate at the time, so I can't comment yet on if there is any difference there. Trigger was the same (excellent) as any other VP9 I've handled.

The HK flier straightgrain posted in his heads up thread stated plainly that the gun is the same as a standard model but with a threaded barrel. So clearly, no special recoil system. Also, it specifically stated that it does not use an o-ring.

No adjustable or suppressor height sights, just regular night sights, like the meps on the LE package. These should run just a little more than the LE package, making them a very inexpensive factory tactical.

    Black only for now.

interesting that they went through the trouble to make a roll marked slide on a model with so few changes

That's good to know, no changes there.

^^ Agreed. I don't even like the "TACTICAL" roll mark. I do like raised sights and a beefed up recoil system when I use a can though. Not jazzed, but I'll take one.

Literature HK put out says its a normal VP9 with a threaded barrel, and rollmarked slide. Meh.

and it's a HUGE roll mark, making it seem like it's a special model
