I have a spare .40 barrel if anyone wants to try
Update: spacing with a brass washer allowed me to fire without holding the slide back slightly, however after racking the slide hard it must be pulled back slightly again for it to function. When you get a chance, can you take a picture of the bottom of both your 40 and 45 slide side by side? And post the date codes of each
Had a farm work day and got to shoot a few rounds... literally a few
So, I am not sure I grabbed the correct magazine (all my usp .45 mags got mixed together and I left in A hurry) as I had most rounds want to nose over the barrel. I tried an unmodifird mk23 mag and it did not work either
So a minor set back today. But I really think it's a simple fix to get the bullets to not point upwards as much as they do in the mag
As I said earlier, the thinner 10mm bullet points up as the feed lips are to wide
Just a heads up to anyone else tackling this, Michael's Machines will be producing a limited run of 10mm USP barrels. If you are interested add your name to this thread: https://www.hkpro.com/forum/michael-s...your-slot.html
Sorry I lost my steam on this...
I will pick back up....I got Roller Lock Fever....
Does anyone have a .40 jet funnel mag that they can try a 10mm bullet in?
It would be ideal if Hk went to metal mags for .40 Jet Funnel, like they did with the 9mm...
I was thinking that the plastic might be thinner on the .40 jet funnel mag and the 10mm might just fit???
Otherwise, I will try to work on bending a Mk23 mag feed lips for the project....
