Same thing, anyone recall this one? Some 'new' American Quality Ammo. VP9 build quality saved the owner some serious injuries....turned out it was the ammo....look for the pics after HK got it apart.

Glad to here there was no real personal injury, that's amazing what the frame did. Many years ago I had a 22LR rimfire do basically the same thing, blew most of the bolt parts right out port window, extractor, spring, ejector, ect. all came flying out, luckily nobody was hurt.

This is nuts. Like others have mentioned. I suspect the problem to be with ammo vs the gun

Like someone said, call them non stop. This is your hard earn dollars, and if it were me, I would already be throwing legal terms around. There is no way in hell am I gonna let this go if the ammo company decides to handle it this way by trying to ignore me and sweep it under the rug.

    Ok, update!

HK politely told me it wasn't their fault or problem.

Winchester, after a few phone calls and some time has come through. They had me fed-ex them the unfired rounds, spent casing that did the damage, and what's left of my P30. They in turn are buying me a brand new P30 and sending me a bunch of ammo.

It took awhile for them to call me back, and me being pushy, but ultimately I'm satisfied with the result.
