I've got all three, the P30SK/P30/P30L, all are V4.1LEM. Of the three, I shoot the P30 the least.

I do really like my 30L.

    HK45 LEM
    HK45c LEM
    P30L 9mm V4.1 LEM
    P30 9mm V4.1 LEM
    P30SK 9mm V4.1 LEM
    VP9
    P2000 9mm V4.1 LEM
    P2000sk 9mm LEM

Love my P30L. As others have said before, the P30 is really the compact and the P30L is the full size (and obviously the SK is the subcompact). I think they should have just called the standard P30 a P30C instead.

P30L is just a pleasure to shoot, definitely my favorite 9mm out there.

Great pic! Love the threaded barrel. Want to get one for mine I just don't like the $300 price from hkparts. Where did you get yours?

I got it from hkparts. I just bit the bullet (so to speak) since it appears that HK won't be importing any more factory barrels for the 30L.

That's great, back when I got mine, they were saying no more factory 30L barrels would be imported. I'm glad they changed their minds.

I called HKCS about a P30L threaded barrel late last year and the guy I talked to tried to convince me that HK didn't make a factory threaded barrel for the P30L. I said what about the one HKparts.net has for sale and dude said that's their deal....he still wouldn't admit that HK made one. I'm glad to see that they have acknowledged that they are made and will be bringing them in!!!! If this is in fact the case, I will be ordering one!

    Cheers

Yup. Took my credit card number to reserve it so once they get them I'll get a phone call asking if I still want it. Dude was great to talk to on the phone.

My P30 has the buffer, not sure why yours doesn't.

In addition to nylon, the P30L utilizes a large metal buffer. Whereas the P30 only uses a small nylon buffer.

    I'm assuming that's what dieter9mm was referencing.
