Question HK SP5K - Rapid Fire... Gun Can't Seem To Keep Up?

Running into a rather odd issue. If I rapid fire a 30 round magazine, the pistol seems to not fire when I pull the trigger at around round 15-20. I have to reset fully the trigger, stop/slow down and try again.

No malfunction that I am aware of. SP5K is spotless, cleaned and lubed up.

Bolt functions fine, I do not have to clear the firearm or re-set it. No visible metal wear from what I can tell. No damage on any brass cases. Etc.

Once I fully reset the trigger, stop and try again the gun fires as normal. (2-3 seconds of cooling down)

I considered it was a mistake on my end... However, I have zero issues going rapid fire on my HK USP, Wilson Combat X-tac (1911), WC TTU Trigger (AR10), etc.

I feel as if the gun needs more lube? Like a thicker grease instead of CLP, etc to run smoother? Thoughts, recommendations? I checked the manual and it says gun oil, no mention of anything else.

Perhaps my trigger needs more lube?

Still in the break-in process. ~500 rounds so far. Thank you!

Is it possible you're not fully resetting the trigger? MP5's have a longer reset than most pistols / AR triggers.

Very true. I will try to film myself with the iPhone slow motion and see if that's it?

That's really the only thing it could be.
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

Unless you're using FrogGoob (aka FrogLube).
