I wonder if that can be offset by installing a heavier recoil spring. You're right, physics are at play here. Knowing how much material is milled and how that equates to reduced weight of the spring might be worth considering. Maybe.

Looks pretty cool. I would like to see range report video followup.

Yeah, this thing is pretty much an abortion.

Why, all those cuts provide is a place for debris, soil, water etc to easily enter your handgun and cause problems. Not to mention the engineering/function is based on specific weight of the slide. If he shoots much +P or suppressed he will have premature wear issues, is my guess.

I can't figure out the point. No rmr, not even aftermarket sights. A gold anodized barell. My eyes are hurting.

I'd like to see some of these custom machined pistols go through the ol mud puddle torture test like the VP9 videos. ..

Agreed Spring rate could definitely compensate for the slide speed
but I'd still be worried about debris if sh*t ever hit the fan

A RMR on this build would complete it.

You asked for opinions, and to me it is like turning a classic 57 Chevy into the Batmobile. Lots of junk out there to "customize", and lots of classics to appreciate the way they are. Just my opinion, and some people apparently really appreciate this stuff.
