Default SKs vs Their Bigger Siblings

I have a VP9, VP9SK, P30L and P30SK. The amount of difference between how I shoot them all at 25 yards is negligible. Unsupported not taking my time on a 12" target I'll hit 70-80% of the time. If I could figure out why I consistently shoot left I might get 'em all on the target in about an 8" group.

If I was asked beforehand how I thought I'd shoot the SKs there is no way would I have thought they would come close to performing this well. How do you shoot your SKs vs the larger versions?

What's the trigger job on the P30 SK, why not on the L?

I've only put about 800 through my 9SK, but initial impressions are, Wow, this is pretty much just like shooting my full size VP9....

The first thing I noticed when shooting my P30sk was how it felt almost like I was shooting a full size pistol. The muzzle rise was very mild for being a subcompact. The grip (for me) is small enough to conceal, but big enough to get a good grip on it to control it. I might shoot full size pistols just slightly better at 25 yards, but virtually no difference at 15, which is all I expect out of a carry gun.

I got that pistol in a trade and that's how it came. Trigger work by Bill Springfield, it has the trigger weight reduction and the short reset. When I first held a P30SK at the LGS I thought the trigger was pretty lackluster after dry firing it some. But the reworked trigger on this sample of mine is pretty sweet. So I thought the trigger on the P30L I just bought would suck as well, but lo and behold it doesn't bother me a bit. It's a headscratcher for me.

I shoot my VP9SK better each time I take it out. On the other hand, I haven't hit the target once with my VP9.

Maybe I should take it out of the box after owning it a couple months?

I had a P30Sk and it did shoot well but hated the pinky dangle. Much happier with a P30.

I still have my p30sk, but shoot my p30 and the sk stays home mostly. I played with the USPc mags and x-grips, but it was ~size of a p30. I am not sure where the p30sk fits in my line up. I like it and shoot it ok, but don't want to EDC the width for only 10 rnds.
