I'm a newbie here but I think some of you are being a little rough on this guy who may have a legitimate issue with his VP9. Just sayin.

In a recoil operated action, conservation of momentum applies (in the absence of external forces). So, the product of bullet mass time bullet speed (bullet momentum) is what is transferred to the moving parts (barrel for a short time while locked to the slide, slide, etc.). The obtained momentum is the integral of the pressure times the contact area of the bullet base during bullet bore travel. Since both the Win "NATO" and AE have the same bullet weight, the AE produces more recoil momentum to operate the action.

If you believe what is in the manufacturers literature, AE does NOT claim to have higher pressures. If I remember correctly, the Win "NATO" advertises 10% more pressure than the "standard" loading. Given that, it appears that the Win offering gives slightly less recoil momentum at a higher pressure (as per their literature). Not exactly what one would desire.

AE 124 is relatively warm ammo, a VP9 should chew it up and spit it out. S&B is pretty much same, personally I don't think based on feel, the Q4318 Winchester NATO is all that warm, seems AE, S&B and Lawman are equally if not hotter than the Winchester, most are cleaner too.

Crash I just bought a grey vp and a sk (it’s a sickness I know) I can feed it Fiocchi 115, 124 or 142 what would you recommend?

All I know is my own personal experience and what I witness and read in the manual that comes with the gun.
To the Original Post, I have found that when I have a new HK, I don't have problems if I start with a clean gun and NATO Ammo. I have personally experienced ftf, ftrtb on USP45T new when using non NATO, which cleared up when changed to Hornady +p in my situation. That's all.

I tell you what FS1 , I don't own an MP5 or shoot pistols suppressed so that let's the 147gr out . I'd shoot what's either the cheapest or which box is closer to get to of the other 2, 115 or 124 . I break all my HK pistols in using 115gr Freedom Munitions reloads . Them cases still go about 6' out between 3 and 4:00 . It's all chicken but his beak , and that's his pecker ........
