Yeah, sorry, that was me. I cleaned them out a couple times over the preceding months. Don't let this discourage you from carrying your M8, though. It's unlikely to break if you're not putting lots of ammo thru it and its still the king of defensive pistols.
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

Just because the normal supply chain dries up, doesn't mean the parts vanish. I can't begin to imagine what enthusiasts have squirreled away. Thank goodness for the WTB section.

So the order I put in to HK Specialist got canceled. There showed to be many in stock when I ordered but now he says they were out of stock. How convenient.

Ouch. Mike at Cross Creek wouldn't have done you that way.

I've got a reasonable stash of springs, and high wear parts, and a good selection of holsters. It's just not worth it to carry a high dollar pistol I can't readily find parts for.

It's not as though you will be carrying the parts for any pistol on your person.

Nope, Mike is a class act. Today's arrival. Nothing says TGIF like a package from Mike at Cross Creek. I guess I am going to my FOP range tomorrow to try them out. :-)

Same thing happened to me with RTG Parts. They had P7M8 mags in-stock according to their website on 2 December when I placed my order. It takes them 5 days to email me and tell me there was a mistake in their inventory and they have no mags to send me. BTW, I only ordered two. Like you said.....how convenient.
