Looks pretty cool. I think I’d like that slide on an OD green frame.
Cross Creek Guns indicates the numbers the distributors are using don't match HK... Can anyone at SHOT ask the HK reps?

If HK contracted someone to Cerakote it ,which they do at times, then it's covered under the HK warranty if something happens because of the finish . Just make sure [B ]HK[/B] contracted the finish , whatever it might be .

I asked the reps at SHOT show about these new colors on the VP9 and VP9SK. They are factory options but the actual job of cerakoting the slides is done by an outside vendor. Full factory warranty. And the one I saw at SHOT show looked really nice (it’s the one in TooSixy’s pic above).

I can still count my hk's with one hand....I just gotta start over once or twice.
If you’re in Vegas and want to compare the bronze slide with baby poop brown, Freedom Firearms on South Durango Drive has a VP9 with bronze slide right next to a brown frame VP9. The colors are pretty close to matching, at least when looking through the glass case. My first time in that shop, the guys behind the counter were very friendly and they had a pretty extensive selection of HK pistols.
I also thought it was an aftermarket treatment so I didn’t ask to see the bronze slide or do the comparison on top of the counter. They did have an OD frame VP9...would be great to have the OD slide
Agree the bronze would be great looking on an OD frame. I like that HK is doing variation like this. Once again, great job HK USA announcing these things to your fanbase here at HKPro.com!!!
If only this colored slide wasn't Cerakote, but rather the nDLC that Glock is using on their G19X... not a fan of Cerakote at all. Not to mention, it seems a bit hokey sitting on a black frame... I mean if you look at other two tone pistols that are similar to FDE/Black... the slide is black (nitride typically) on a FDE frame. It makes no sense to me to have put this slide coating on a black frame, when they just as easily could have color matched the frame to slide.
