    You can get those dental picks cheap on Fleabay or at any flea market.
    Those would be best along with using oil like Brobus suggested.

    Yes, just the patch is stuck. the problem is finding something long enough, yet small enough, yet strong enough to grab the patch.
    First off I personally would not stick any thing metal in there. I would first try to take the back end of a ramrodz q-tip and see if you can put enough sideways pressure on the patch to pull it out of there. Good luck.

    Auto parts stores usually have a 4 pack of picks with different style heads. I've used them for years on just about everything. Plus what was said above on the .22 bore brush.

    Did your gun come with the bronze cylinder cleaning brush? If so, just shove it in there and twist it a few times and pull it out. Patch should come with it. If not, dental picks are cheap at harbor freight.
