    The US-made HK45/HK45C barrel has 2 serial numbers: 1 is at the ejection port, which matches the frame/slide serials, and the other one is on the opposite side of the ejection port, which is a German serial number with the proper prefix. We're not talking about the GA-made HK45/HK45C now.

    I can't recall seeing one but I will double check next time I clean it. Thanks for the info.

    Never really paid attention to it, but I just notice on the 3rd picture, the frame is dated "BH". Are all frames dated? Thanks

    Yes all frames are dated with year of manufacture

    To be clear, they are date coded. Some other HKs are dated mm/yr. without a code.

    The front have back straps have a sand paper type texture.

    It’s is not like the VP9 texture.

    You may be thinking new '17+ German made ones. My full size has it
