Default First purchase of the year - USPc

Went to a semi-local Cabela's last night and brought home my first purchase of the year. USPc in .357Sig. I've been wanting to purchase a USPf, but this felt quite nice in my small hands. Comes with night sights and no control lever (possibly LEM?). I was told from the gun library employee that it came in with the batch of HKs that were former demo models for the HK reps. Not sure how believable that would be, but there were quite a bit of them in the case. It looked to have quite a bit of blemishes on the exterior from handling, however, the end of the outer end of barrel seemed to have no wear marks from usage. With one of the mags included, it is a bit longer than the other. About 1/8", so it noticeably sticks out. It's labeled for P2000 SubC, but sticks out in the same fashion on my P2000. Does not seem like it'll pose any issues for me, but still quite weird to see.

Oddly enough, all of my HKs have come from Cabela's gun library. Maybe I should stay away from there from now on.

Don't think Hk has produced handguns in 357 for some time.
    Bought a DA/SA SS USPc 40 recently.
Had it converted to LEM and added an OEM 357 barrel.

Congratulations on picking up a great gun!

I'm jealous, I've always wanted a real deal stamped .357SIG USPC. They haven't made them for a long time. What's the date code? I just bought a stainless USPC in .40S&W and put in a .357 SIG barrel.

That is awesome, congrats! I love the USPc in that caliber, been my primary EDC since the day I got it. They seem to pop up from time to time but there are not a ton available with the 357 SIG roll marked slide since being discontinued. When you break it down look at the TRS and you should be able to tell whether it’s light (round coil) or heavy (square coil) LEM. Well done. Carry on.

Never mind, I zoomed your pic and saw the AE (2004) mark.

Is that serial number 151 on the p 2000 ? Any Bacardi fan would pay a premium for that, in addition to it being such a low number.

Congrats to you as well! I love shooting .357, so I had to bring this home when I saw it.

The stamping is also partially why I bought this. I love seeing roll marks. And like you saw, it is an AE. Congrats to you on your purchase as well!

Thanks. I will break it down when I get home later tonight.

Unfortunately, it is 191. Sorry, Bacardi fans.
