Going from P2000 LEM to V3, without a decocker, is not safe or supported.

A P30S LEM converted would be cocked and locked SA only.

The LEM pistol frames do not have the cutout for the decocking lever.

I am not saying you couldn't just put your thumb on the hammer, pull the trigger, and lower the hammer. But that is not safe or factory supported.

    I carry a P2000sk V1 light LEM.
Only a P30S can be converted? What's wrong with a P30LS, P30, or P30L? They can't be converted to LEM? LOL

ETA: You probably didn't notice the P30LS on the far right on that chart. It means that the V1 LEM with Safety is only available on the P30LS. There is virtually no P30S in V1 LEM. I said "virtually" because I have only seen 1 and heard of the 2nd existence of a P30S V1 LEM in the U.S.

I noticed the P30LS in that field. I knew you would know of any other uncommon variants existing in the U.S., that is why I just typed P30S.

I read an older post you wrote that the USP LEM could retain the control lever for safe only. I never knew a P30 was ever offered as LEM with a safety.

    Thanks for the info!

Only a few V1 LEM P30LS's in both 9 and 40 were brought into the U.S. by mistake a while back and offered to the general public. I have both.

I must admit the LEM took some time to get use to and become proficient. My experience is with LEM 4.1. I really suggest you look into the 4.1 conversion and shoot a few hundred rounds. I think you will be surprised. TooSixy has posted some wonderful information in the technical section and is extremely helpful.
