I mean good on you for that. But my milled slide won稚 work with both my RMRs.

Why? How is that not possible?

GJM explained it above. But to mill one tightly enough to eliminate issues, many mill them to a specific optic. The tolerances are such that the dimensions of the next may or may not fit.

Mine is milled so perfectly to my RMR, I have to take a mallet to break it free for battery changes, and again to make it seat. I am confident I could shoot the gun and hold zero without mounting screws. However, when the optic dies (I知 sure it will), I have to send it back to ATEi to be refit, or for them to go through a pile of RMRs until one does fit.

That's the reason I didn't choose the pro-cut for my RMR when I had ATEI mill my slide. The universal cut is tight enough, has bosses, and is free of headaches when rds need to be changed.
展hen you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"
"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.

    This.

I have the Pro and was nervous as hell when my RMR had to go back to Trijicon. Thankfully got the original back that fit proper otherwise I was destined for problems.

Out of curiosity, what happened to your RMR? Type 1 or 2?

The agency I work for allows only factory milled setups, and at present only authorize the SW, Glock and Sig P320. I currently use a P320 with a Romeo, but would love to get back on the VP9 with a Trijicon. I will have to wait until HK releases it AND Safariland produces a holster for it. I suspect it'll be a long while.
HK taste with a Hi Point budget.

    So $856 for the VP9L?
I wonder if we'll be getting colored frames, like the VP9 line.
