I’d be interested in getting an OR slide only, just change out slides on my frame.

That's nice. After waiting for over a year since the OR pics were first posted, last month I spent a nice amount with Mark on setting a couple of Glocks of mine with Unity Atom adapters.
HK is being HK. Marching to their own drum, years behind their competitors in replying to consumer requests, content with being a secondary player on this market. I applaud to you all for staying loyal to the brand. I myself am pretty much out. If I am able to trade something or sell something I have, I might get an OR but I won't run out and buy one.

Larry over at J&L Machining Works does some outstanding work as well. Here is a VP9 they did.

Direct milling looks to be a good bit lower than the optics ready version.

    Good luck with that.

I had noticed that. I'm on the fence. All of my others were paddles. My children were thrown off by it initially, but after a week or so of nothing else, my son gravitated towards it.

I'm more concerned with the height/depth of the slot, because it may limit my choices of optics with the ability to co-witness an adjustable sight (I'm really not sure of any other sight other than LPA that would fit without further modification).

Based on the other thread, there won't be many of these sold if they have the push button mag release

That's what the Walther fans said... But Walther seems to be selling a lot of button mashers.
